they both join the dark brotherhood but for different purposes
vai-shei joins it so he can be a (unofficial) shadowscale!! hes into the tradition and the tenets and stuff so its new way of order is a surprise to him!!! he doesnt agree w it but what can he do. astrid is in charge so he just goes along with it but he has a bad feeling that somethign bad is...
